Representative Laurel Libby (R-Minot) is all over the internet and global news. Christians in Maine see in the young woman a champion for their convictions. Since 2020, when she first showed up in Augusta, she has not shied away from political controversy. She opposed vaccine laws and mask mandates. She’s been on the wrong side of majority Democrat leadership more than once.

Currently she is banned from voting in the Legislature for resisting Maine’s woke agenda. The Legislative majority want pretend girls (boys) to be free to continue competing with girls officially in sports. Eighty percent of the public is opposed to this. She is fund raising to support a lawsuit against the Speaker of the House.

Libby, a nurse and interior design business owner, is recognized by evangelical Christianity as their public leader. Her secular profile (nurse/business owner) fits comfortably with the current strategy of the over century old Christian Civic League of Maine (CCLM). This once non-partisan, and now Republican, force has faded into the political background while supporting secular figures like former two term Governor Paul LePage and Representative Laurel Libby. Additionally the CCLM strongly supports neoconservative non-religious pressure groups like The MaineWire and Dinner Table, along with other suspected actors like Mike Soboleski.

Evangelical pastors forced the League off the front page after two decades of resisting sodomy. The large donors and mothers/grandmothers in their churches forced change at the League as it drew fire for proving Christianity’s practical influence on morals, marriage and family life. The capitulation was forced by Jewish money and influence. Evangelicalism in Maine is ferociously Zionist. A heretical version of the Bible, created by the Jewish Revolutionary Spirit in the late nineteenth century, inspired Maine’s current confusion over gender, sexuality and family life.

Both Michael Stuart Heath and Laurel Libby are graduates of Roberts Wesleyan College in North Chili, New York. The Free Methodist liberal arts college is highly regarded among Evangelical Christians. While Libby’s degree is in Nursing, Heath obtained his in Religion/Philosophy. Heath led the CCLM in it’s two decade long crusade for common sense laws related to human sexuality and family life. The CCLM drew the shades long ago and stopped providing strong moral leadership. In 2020 Heath entered the Roman Catholic Church.

Paul Madore, Roman Catholic father of nine and grandfather of forty, stood shoulder-to-shoulder with Heath during the sodomy wars.

The men have come together once again to fight for Maine’s present and future in an attempt to break the leadership stalemate. They are concerned that Libby cannot deliver the Force of Nature caliber of leadership Maine needs right now.

“She’s a good woman,” Said Paul Madore. “We’re thankful she’s in the State House, and on the front page, defending what’s best for Maine families and people. We’re not convinced, however, that she has what it takes to break the stalemate, and serve as that essential force of nature.”

Libby has not announced her future ambitions, as far as RCFM knows. The phones of politically active Mainers are burning up with talk about next year’s elections, and her role in them.
